Over the years, ASCO has created an outstanding engineering team with technical capabilities in the precision machining of high strength components, an experienced and highly skilled workforce using state-of-the-art machining facilities and an efficient and well-tested production improvement process.
ASCO is currently the world-leading manufacturer of slat actuation systems and a leader in flap actuation devices with the ambition to grow faster than the aerospace industry growth. ASCO is continuously recognized as a preferred supplier or partner which is ultimate recognition of its technological excellence.
ASCO’s growth over the last years was achieved thanks to the continuous development of its competitive position and its partnerships with the major aircraft constructors.
Historically ASCO had focused its market niche on wing components (flap and slat tracks) for commercial aircraft. Over the years, ASCO has invested strongly to develop alternative business for other aircraft components and systems (landing gears, engine mounts, bulkheads, pylons brackets, etc). Along with this diversification of products, ASCO will also focus on diversifying its activities to include new long range aircrafts, business jets and military aircrafts. ASCO wishes indeed to evolve towards an international top-tier (sub)-system provider for the most products that fly.
To continue to grow, ASCO pursues with determination the following clear and consistent strategic plan:

- Expand into other product segments
- Strengthen its engineering excellence
- Developing partnerships or making new acquisitions offering not only production capacity but preferably also engineering capabilities
