has always been to invest in state of the art manufacturing
capacity (both infrastructure and equipment) to meet its customers'
current and future expectations in a mutually beneficial business
relationship.
The implementation of a comprehensive worldwide investment
plan is still continuing with an impressive cumulated investment
figure of EUR 78 Million over the last five years.
The industrial site in Zaventem has a total surface of + -
64.800 m2 (+ - 720,000 sqft2) with 6 factory units, 1 assembly
unit and 1 head office totaling a covered surface of + - 46.000
m2 (+ - 511,100 sqft2). The German facilities (Asco Deutschland)
have a covered surface of 5.025 m2 (55,800 sqft2). The Canadian
facilities (AAC) have a covered surface of 10.000 m2 (110,000
sqft2).
Asco's selection criteria for new production tools are focused
on enhancing and upgrading capacity and productivity as well
as quality and efficiency using the newest high technology
developments in a cost effective way. Over the last years,
several new high-performance machines became operational,
including 5-axis integrated multi-pallet machining centers,
high speed Gantry and horizontal machine profiler and equipment
such as surface treatment and test benches.
